The following sets out the obligations and policies of Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited (the ˇ§Companyˇ¨) under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the ˇ§Ordinanceˇ¨).
To facilitate the Company to provide services to customers from time to time, it is necessary for customers to supply to the Company with personal data such as name, address and contact telephone number in connection with the provision of after-sales services, service promotion activities offered by the Company and any other services provided related to the operations of the Company.
The purposes for which personal data may be used are as follows:

the daily operation of our services;

conducting customer, product and service surveys;

subject to the requirements of the Ordinance, direct marketing of products and services;
- the handling of customer complaints and enquiries;
and matters directly related thereto.
Failure to supply required personal data may result in the Company being unable to provide relevant services to the customers.
Personal data held by the Company relating to a customer will be kept confidential but we may provide such information to:
- associated companies within the Shun Hing Group;
- any agent, contractor or third party service provider who provide services to the Company in connection with the operation of our business;
- the media (in relation to the handling of customer complaints and enquiries in certain circumstances);
- any person who owes a duty of confidentiality to the Company.
Personal data will be kept in our database for a reasonable period. Any customer being a data subject, under the Ordinance, has the right to check whether the Company holds his/her personal data, to obtain a copy of such data and to correct any related data which is inaccurate or outdated. A small fee may be charged towards administrative expenses in complying with access requests.
Any customer who does not wish his/her personal data be used for the purpose of direct marketing by the Company should make such request to the Company in writing.
